This is a recap of trades I took over the past week.
On Wednesday, 9/28, at the conclusion of the NY trading session, I opened a short position on the EURUSD. My justification for the trade was the retracement of price into the value area. I decided to open a short position just below the pin bar after the daily close; with a stop loss just above the pin bar. This turned out to be quite a large stop-loss level, and I was almost stopped out the next day, but the trade remains intact as of now.

On Thursday, 9/29, at the close of the NY trading session, I opened a short position on GBPJPY. My justification for placing the trade was the retracement of price into the value area; followed by a false bullish break. I placed a short position at the opening market price at the next open, with an initial stop-loss just above the high of the false-break bar. This did turn out to be another very risky trade; I was really close to getting stopped out the next day, but as of thismoment the trade is still open.
