The BBC make an unusually entertaining motoring programme called Top Gear. In a recent episode the presenters are filmed acting out, in slow motion, a car crash. When played back at normal speed it showed, unconvincingly, their improvised ramshackle car surviving unscathed.
Or was I watching Super Mario driving a Troika on Newsnight?
I see that a successful Greek deal is priced in to the euro to some extent. I am unconvinced. It is the slowest motion car crash imaginable. Remember when sterling lost half it's value in 1980? The euro deserves similar.
