PLEASE READ- CFTC proposes to cap leverage at 10:1
Published on Saturday March 13th, 2010 at 01:56PM by PipTiamat
Recently the CFTC has proposed to change the leverage cap of all US customers from 100:1 down to the unreasonable 10:1 as this would make trading FOREX unreasonable for smaller account holders and ultimately discourage a lot of forex traders as 10:1 is, in my opinion, extremely unreasonable. If you feel as strongly as I do about this topic you can send inquiries to this emailsecretary@cftc.gov Please include 'Regulation of Retail Forex' in the subject line of your message and the following identification number in the body of the message: RIN 3038-AC61. If you want more information directly from the sourse you can view the proposed regulation at this websitehttp://www.cftc.gov/newsroom/generalpressreleases/2010/pr5772-10.html
