WHO?

Who knows who would be the main man or womans system to follow and to give reasons why the person who answers is nominating this person.

Personally my thought process is if I am to follow the best I can take on board what is being said to me and hopefully learn a lot quicker by following shall I say my mentor would be a more apt name.

Want a really honest answer as to who's system to follow?

The best system to use is YOURS. You find out how the forex market works, you find out what timeframe/s you like using, you find out what methods you like, and YOU desgin the system to suit you.

There are several reasons for this:

    1) Only you know what you like and what suits you

    2) What works for Tom, Dick , or Razor may not work for don.

    3) If you desgin and implement your own system you are far more likely to follow it and stick to it. If you follow someone elses and when you start taking losses you lose faith in the system you'll change it, tweak it, or throw it away and start the cycle again.

Here's an example. I tried starting out using mechanical systems very similar to Huck's. I desgined them myself, but they never worked for me. It's take a few losses and I'd tweak it. After some soul searching (And a trader needs to do this regulary) I realised that mechanical systems didn't suit me - I tend to question and analyse things by nature so I am more suited to discretionary systems that allows me to choose when to enter/exit.

Also you can't go wrong checking this out: http://forums.babypips.com/newbie-island/36328-what-every-new-aspiring-forex-trader-still-wants-know.html That'll give you a hard run down on reality. Remember anything that someone teaches has to fit in with you. You can take the base of teachings and utilise them.

Here's is a tip I get at a share forum I go to: DYOR (Do your own reseach) If I tell you who to follow and it doesn't work out who's fault is that?

And finally take what I say with a grain of salt - it's just my opinion and I'm willing to bet there'll be a few more opinions to follow which means the decision of who to listen to is YOURS.

First, learn all you can, and then keep learning.  Then, you have the knowledge.  Then, start to work to learn to apply it.  Go ahead and try different people's systems to learn.  Eventually, you'll have the capability to put together your own system and stick to it.  It could contain pieces of other people's systems.  I guess I am kind of cynical, but I don't believe in any quick ways to success.  No one gets rich quick.  The billionaires are all people who had tons of talent, and all, at least, started out working tons of hours all the time, and never gave up.  They were not followers.  They were leaders.  Anyway, just my opinions.
