Volatility was down yesterday since most US traders were probably hungover from their Fourth of July celebrations. The major pairs barely moved during the Asian session although some nice setups did pop up during the later sessions. Unfortunately, I was a bit swamped at that time so I wasn't able to pick a good trade. Here's a simple setup on NZDUSD, where the pair touched the top daily ATR before moving down. I could've shorted at the ATR and placed my stop above that minor resistance level, just for a day trade.

And then here's another one on the AUDUSD 1-hour chart that I've really been thinking of taking. The pair was hovering right on the trend line yesterday morning and I thought of shorting at market. However, the price broke a bit above the trend line so I decided against it. Later on, it dropped below again... and went on until the .8400 area. The price retested the trend line during the US session too.
