Started 2012 on a strong note as I won two trades last week and ended up with a 1% gain on my demo account. Resetting my account did take a lot of the psychological pressure off!
I hope I manage to hold on to my gains and make some more in the coming weeks. One thing I noticed about my trading is that I usually start strong but end weak, be it for the week or the month. I guess having that "clean slate" feel really has a psychological effect on my trading performance. That's why I'm really really hoping that won't be the case this time around.
So for now, I'll keep reminding myself to take it slow, to not overtrade, and to cherry-pick the setups that I take. It seems that the markets are already off to a rocky start so I just gotta be able to roll with the punches and manage my risk properly. Wish me luck!

I wish you best of luck. It sure feels good with a clean start and keep it going. Also, remember even the best team like Manchester United also have few losses compared to many many wins. So keep it going and pick best setups.
I'm working on mine as well but no clean slate. Well, I just take a shower everytime will be clean for me. Hehe..
