I'm back!

I'm back!  For the last few months, I've been testing MT4 expert advisors, playing about with Zulutrade and reading a couple of trading books (Adventures of a Currency Trader - Rob Booker, and Trading for a Living - Alexander Elder).  I'm currently reading "Come Into My Trading Room" and trading with a small live account, using the Triple Screen Trading system.  I'll of course modify it over time to suit me, if and when it becomes necessary.  I'll update the trading system section on this site later today or tomorrow.  I'm also allowing some autotrading on Zulutrade.  I've had mixed results but I'm quite optimistic as long as I keep my money management principles intact.

Onward and upward!  :)

Thanks Pipstradamus... The Adventures of a Currency Trader was an easy read; I was inspired by it more than I learnt from it.  Trading for as Living is a classic; I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to get serious with trading, be it the stock market, futures (including forex) or options.  I've totally changed my trading system as a result of reading the book!

Trading for a Living is definitely a classic. I see you fancy the Triple Screen Trading System. We cover a similar concept in our School, http://www.babypips.com/school/multiple-time-frame-analysis.html. :)

True, Pipstradamus, I remember reading this when I went through the school last year.  It was a good very foundation; the good thing about Trading for a Living is that it goes into the concept in greater depth (no suprise, seeing that the system was developed by the author).

Alligatortrader, thanks for sharing.  I remember Rob Booker for one thing: the 10 pips rule.  I don't fully subscribe to it, but it's at the back of my mind all the time.  I'd rather break even or take 10 pips than let a winning trade slip into a losing position.  I'm still trying to refine this approach to also enable me follow long-term trends, which I've been unable to do so far.  I've not heard of the Wallaby trade yet.  Glad it's working for you.
